tcsh script error- Variable must contain alphanumeric characters


I am a total noob to this world and using Unix to run tcsh scripts for brain scan analysis, trying to run a script and it says
set: Variable name must contain alphanumeric characters

I don't know what information anyone would need to be able to help me, but I really need help! thank you!

You could add the -x option when running the script. This way, all commands are printed as they are executed, and you will know which command line causes the error.

$var must be numbers and or letters

Echo the $variable to see what it is, or post the part of the script that causes that error.
