Question tcpdump

could somebody tell me what is this,im blurred on this command

tcpdump is a packet sniffer that can intercept network packets and log them or display them on the screen. it enables u to examine the data in its raw form, which can be useful if u understand enough of the protocol's implementation details to spot problems.
