I am trying to install tcl/tk 8.4 (both same versions) so that I can run AMSN (latest version requires tcl/tk 8.4 and Red Hat provides 8.3).

I follow the instructions provided in the manual:

I will go unto each of their directories, 1st the TCL in the unix folder using the console.
make install

Then the TK directory under
make install

It runs just fine but when I try a wish command after this it won't recognize the command. Then when I try to ./configure AMSN it says that TCL/TK is missing.

This website helped me

Since Red Hat is so smart it doesn't know where to put the files I had to do it manually.
