taskbar stops after auto hide

1 Attachment(s)
My box is scientific linux x86 6.2.

I moved taskbar and panel to right side of screen, and set "auto hide" as shown at attached picture.

But after auto-hiding, I have a two problems.

1. The applications at taskbar does not restore to work. When I clicked any application, it does not restore to work.

2. Time widget and two things got bigger than before auto-hiding!

Please let me know how to resolve this problem, or back to normal state.

Thanks in advance.

Hello, is English your native language, because if it is, then you might want to read your messages again before posting; if it isn't then you can be forgiven.
Can you start the konsole? (your picture implies you can't)
If you can, follow the following steps.
Code:

(1) Open the konsole and enter the following two commands;
(2) kquitapp plasma-desktop
(3) plasma desktop
(4) Do not close the konsole,
(5) Do what causes the issue, one or more error messages will occur in the konsole
(6) copy and paste the results of the konsole here so we can see what exactly is going wrong

Unfortunately my actual skill solving skills are still very unperfected so i can tell you this, but it's likely i've nothing else; So hopefully someone else will be able to look at the error message and help you out

Knightron/ Yes, It works!

Quote:

[root@maestro Documents]# kquitapp plasma-desktop
Invalid D-BUS interface name 'org.kde.plasma-desktop.PlasmaApp' found while parsing introspection
[root@maestro Documents]# plasma desktop
bash: plasma: command not found
[root@maestro Documents]#
I can click and the application restored to work.

If possible, please let me know how to make smaller clock size than this.

Sorry, that command should have been plasma-desktop, not plasma desktop. This is very important; None of those commands should have been preformed as root; they should have been done as your user.
I don't think there is any way you can shrink the clock. Try looking for an alternative clock plasmoid at kdelooks.org

Knightron/ Thanks for your kindness.

[root@maestro Documents]# plasma-desktop

And I appreciate for information about an alternative clock.
