System rebooting contionous
 
Dear all,

I have changed the id number in vi /etc/inittabChanged the id to 0 and rebooted the machine. But still it is rebooting continous again and again log in window is not coming..
Please suggest how to troubleshoot the issue..

During system start-up, when boot screen appears, boot it into single user mode. Then login as root and restore previous entry in inittab by modifying it.

No yaar i cannot, it is automatically rebooting..
Is there any option to enter single user mode..

You can boot with a live cd then mount your root partition and change the value back,
