system maintenance


i have mandrake 7.0 how can i configure the sytem maintenance (scan disk, desfr. ) to run at the same hours from time to time for ever ?

you can do most automated tasks at given times usually with cron jobs. but don't worry about defragging, linux doesn't need to be defragged ever unlike windows.
