System hangs on KDE startup
Hi,
I'm running Fedora Core1 with KDE 3.2. Recently I edited a startup file that I shouldn't have and now it hangs after I log in. Is there any key sequence that stops KDE from loading and goes into terminal mode? Fedora does allow me to manually prevent each service from loading, but nothing I do can make it stop loading KDE. I can boot into windows, but there is no way to make boot floppy that can read an ext3 partition from windows. thanks, Ed |
Never mind. I got it working, but it took hours :( - I had to install a new Fedora partition
