system crash

I use Fedora 8 x86_64 I have firefox, claws Mail, office, skype open usually. When I click on a link such as news article in MSNBC or Yahoo. My systems crashes instant off. I have replace the power supply, tested memory 12 cycles Passed stress tested the CPU passed, Tested the hard drive 2 cycles complete scans passed. I tried to run the knoppix live cd it hung at the Probing/loading AGP Modules. My board doesn't have AGP I have PCI Express. with on board video unless the on board video is on a AGP bridge I don't understand the hang. It didn't Freeze. Hung the Rotating curser continued to move for over an hour. I lost my 3D effects a couple of weeks ago. and have not been able to figure out how to get them back. All my temps. are good and in range. I am wondering if there is a setting that anyone can think of that may be wrong and possibly how to fix it. Please it is getting frustrating.
Every test I have run has passed that is why I believe it is a software issue. So I am back here, please help

Craig

Tests aside it sounds like a hardware issue, not software.

I agree, I'd recommend to start with a PSU test.
