system-config-printer returns Index Error


'System-config-printer' command on Fedora core 6 returns Index Error:"List index out of range" on my home PC.I have a HP F300 Deskjet series printer and a couple of attempts to configure the printer failed before the command returned index error.lpstat and lpc returns printer disabled.Please help me

I have never set up an all in one printer with linux but I did find this page. Hope it helps.
