System Clock UTC Whatever..

Hi all,

I have a strange problem which is when I set my clock by
date -s 10:25
it changes to 10:25, but when I boot winxp after linux, the clock in windows goes to 3 hours earlier time.. When I set winxp clock, linux clock goes to 3 hours later time...

I think the problem is with setting clock to hardware clock but I don't know how to solve this...

Thanks a lot...

the is a tool called "WEBMIN" . You can download the package at With this tool you can access your machine with the webbrowser. Among other things you can set the system time to the hardware time. I hope its helpful.
