system booting problem with xp


Dear friends,
Today i face new problem.that is i have installed redhat9.0.
after installation linux gui is not started.so,i boot with winxp removed linux partitions.after that i am trying to boot but "grub>" is coming.system can't boot with windows xp.but all windows files partitions are there.any one can help regarding in this issue.

First let me try and outline what you did:

1. Windows was preinstalled
2. Installed Redhat
3. Removed Redhat
4. Now getting the "grub>" when you boot?

If that is correct you need to fix your Master Boot Record.

The best way to do it would be to find a Windows XP installation CD and boot with that. I believe there is an option to fix the master boot record. Sorry I can't remember exactly. Google is your friend also!
