Smile Symbian Mobile and Jaunty (Ubuntu 9.04)

Hi
I m user of Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty) but new to ubuntu.
I want to configure my E50 to Jaunty through bluetooth.
For this I found many packages from net.
But hanged out. I want to transfer my files to and from

Using Bluetooth with symbian phone

I use the right click function and send files using the bluetooth push function. My phone (N97) was easy to set up just add a device by clicking on the bluetooth icon

tx files from mobile to ubuntu/linux laptop

As described above sending files from your ubuntu laptop to your phone is easy using the send via bluetooth function, as long as you have set up your device under "set up new device" ensuring the phone has bluetooth on and visible.

To send files the other way I browse my phone through ubuntu bluetooth

If yor right click oin the bluetooth icon, select "browse files on device" this can take a shortt while for it to read files. if you then open a file manager or click on computer you will see your device and you can copy files as required.

Hopefully this should work, it works with my N97
