Switching from XP Pro to Linux Suse

Im thinking about doing this and I have a few questions. I want to know if ill be able to play Counter-Strike 1.6, HL2 and Counter-Strike: Source and maybe even some other mods from them. Also can I get drivers for my graphics card and for other things that I might need? I dont know much about Linux so if yall could just give me some pros and cons about switching that would be great. My specs are listed below:

AMD 64 3400+
MSI K8N Neo Platinim nForce 3 250gb
1GB OCZ Platinum Series Enhanced Bandwidth PC3500
80GB 7200 RPM Western Digital 8mb cache
eVGA GeForce FX 5900 128mb (but I plan on switching to the BFG 6800 GT 256mb)
I also have a pair of Plantronics DSP-500's will the software that came with them work?

Any help you can give me would be great, thanks in advance.

Well you will need WineX Cedega to play these games. ITs a DirectX emulation program
You will find the drivers for your graphic card from the nVidia site

I don't know
You should first check if a linux version of the software is available from the developer, or you can try your luck in Wine
