Switch User Info

Am using slack.. i am wondering can i have switch user in kde using runlevel 3.
When using runlevel 4 there is an switch user command in the menu..
If possable can i have the switch user command in the menu running runlevel 3, if so how would i go about doing this..

Isn't runlevel 3 the console? If so use 'su <username>'.
