swap space

(parted) print
Disk geometry for /dev/hda5: 0.000-19100.689 megabytes
Disk label type: loop
Minor Start End Filesystem Flags
1 0.000 19100.689 ext3
(parted) mkpartfs ext3 linux-swap 0 1500
Error: Can't create any more partitions.

[oracle@alwarid-taj ~]$ grep MemTotal /proc/meminfo
MemTotal: 1017596 kB
[oracle@alwarid-taj ~]$ grep SwapTotal /proc/meminfo
SwapTotal: 0 kB
[oracle@alwarid-taj ~]$

how create swap is possible or not ?

try reducing the size of hda5 by the amount of swap space you want, then create swap space.

run cfdisk this is pretty straight forward.
