Exclamation suspicious activities between Chrome and Firefox


I am open my chrome using Terminal, after that i use pgrep chrome to see how many instance are open.It shows the following
Code:
sam@localhost:~$ pgrep chrome
7423 
7434 
7439 
7475 
7484 
7497
Samething i do with firefox , it shows only one instances like below
Code:
sam@localhost:~$ pgrep chrome
7668
Why chrome open more than one process ?

try ps -ef | grep <pid> to check those processes
