Yes, that is how it works.

So if I'm having trouble with either sleep/wake or hibernate/thaw how do you suggest that I diagnose things?

Do you suggest that I get hibernate working first then worry about sleep
or the other way around?

My /var/log/pm-suspend.log file looks like this:
Code:

Fri Mar 30 22:55:53 CDT 2012: performing suspend

Clearly NetworkManager and cpufreq have problems. From this point,
I have no idea what to do to "correct" or "resolve" whatever issues there might be.

I supposed that I could add my wifi and wire network drivers into the list
for removal and reload across any suspend attempt. In my case that is iwlagn and e1000e.

Does something similar make sense for cpu frequency scaling? I'm not sure which
modules would apply here?

In either case, do I need to create scripts or simply name the modules?

Thanks,
~~~ 0;-Dan
