Susie 10.2

Hello Everyone,

I've recently installed Susie 10.2, my main goal is to make it my file sharing machine for the home "which has been accomplished"

Now my problem is I want to setup SSH,SFTP Server, webserver and possibly a proxy for later on..

I notice most of the tools are present.. but I am a little confused on how to Install SSH. "or get it working"

I've enabled remote desktop and can connect to it internally "192.168.2.12"

For file sharing I enabled Samba and NFS.. but for SSH, SFTP and WEbserver it's a little more complex.. I assume for webserver I would use apache.

Can I not share a folder and use it as a webpage? I am in need of some direction..

Thank You.

You should be able to set up a lamp(Linux Apache MySql Php) server through yast too.

If it's just going to be displayed on the internal network, you can use xampp.
But as far as I remember it's not that hard to set up on suse.

This is the first thing I found... It's outdated, but it shouldn't have changed that much.
