I think you need to give more details...such as your hardware.
I'm running SuSE 9.2 on a notebook with zero issues and it's been a very positive experience. |

Hello,ksgill
First thanks for your time but print the output of: df ????? huh more info please Thank you |
Hi,ksgill
Ok here is what i have it looks like suse installed on say a 160 GB but all seems to be running great is this something that i will have to once again reinstall suse please say it's not so Thank you |
Hello, if its running fine thn you dont have to reinstall it. :D Not sure what happened to the rest of disk space.. try df as root in the console.
|
Hi,ksgill
Could you please tell me what is this "df" & yes it is running great a lot better then suse9.0 but that maybe just me so far the one problem i am having is no sound no big thing to me i don't use anything that i need sound you know it would be nice if i could some how parttion this hard drive so i may have somewhere to install progs but not sure if it is to late to do that now Thank you |
One very important thing to learn in linux is to use the console (or shell). In suse you can get it from
start menu>> System >> Terminal >> Konsole In that shell, you can issue different commands .. df - report filesystem disk space usage. It tells u how much of space you have used on all your hard drives. for sounds you can do alsaconfig in the same shell. It is very useful.. learn how to use it. Good Luck |
