Suse : Why double mountpoints ?

Hello,

I use Suse 8.2 and noticed something I didn't see with RH.

If Suse makes my mountpoints for harddisk with other OS's or with other
distro's (even Samba shares) it makes 2 mount points 1 in CAPITALS and 1 small.

For instance :

My first drive with a win os has 2 mountpoints C: and c:

In Fstab it is mounted as /windows/C:

In the directory windows I find 2 entries C: an c:

This is the same with shares I mount with Linuxneigberhood.
They have also 2 mountpoints.

Is this normal ?

Not exactly sure but its probably there for convienience, so that you don't have to worry about casing, one's probably just a symbolic link of the other.
