SuSe -- need help installing ATI Radeon X1950 pro

I have installed SuSe 10.3 OSS. I have installed the latest ATI driver to my Desktop. I do not know how to get that folder to execute. Can someone help. All of the other distros that I have tried have given me very little problems, but I don't know how to install drivers after downloaded to the desktop. Also, I don't know how to switch the directory to the desktop.
