Suse Linux Installation
Im a "die hard" fan of Windows until recently got a little tired of it. Since heard many things about Linux, curiosity filled in and recently downloaded Suse Linux Personal 9.1 as a starter.
Surprise to find that there were no installtion file as in "SETUP.EXE" like in Windows. Although I'm aware that Linux uses a different partition and filesystem. So how do I install it from scratch from partitioning to running it up? Let's skip backing up data or losing - i don't mind throwing and thrashing up Windows on my PC. Or is there a site where i can read all these thing[s]? Thanks ;) |
as long as ure pc is set up in the bios to boot from CD it should be a case of popping the cd and rebooting the install should auto start
