Suse Linux 11 HDD decreasing

Hi all,

i am new to linux platform. But i recently installed Suse Linux 11 SP3 on a VM with a HDD size of 250.
A day after installation, i logged in back to my linux server and i am prompted that my HDD size is left with 2GB.

I have not performed any activities on the server, so i will need you help on how to solve this issue of my HDD decreasing for no reason.

you do know that you need to BUY the required yearly support contract

SUSE Linux Enterprise ( SERVER/DESKTOP ) 11 sp3 is not free
-- server license

-- SINGLE desktop install

How?

did you use a LVM
or
a standard non server layout
/boot
/
/home
SWAP

what kind of vm ?
( what is this unknown VM )

what host ?
how was this unknown VM set up ?

Hi John,

we have a standard VM Server at my company where we have installed several OS on different Virtual Machines we use.

We decided to install SUSE linux 11 SP3. To point out , our Linux has not been registered and we have used it several times but this time round, when it is installed within a day the HDD size goes to 0 byte.

Is this happening because or linux is not registered?
