Suse linux 10.2 reboot issue after power failure

Hi,

Is anyone having this issue, like once a machine failed on power, when you power on again, it will ask for fsck.

this is annoying, how can I configure it so it will go on booting without hitting user involvement.

OS is OpenSuse 10.2.

Thanks for your help.

Sounds like you are not using a journaled filesystem. I suggest you convert to a journaled filesystem, such as ext3. On power up after an unexpected loss of power, the system just recovers the journal and keeps on booting.
