SuSe Hangs
 

I have installed an OpenSuse Linux 11.1 on my laptop. It works fine but after logging in to desktop it freezes. Mouse works but keyboard does not respond. I am new to Linux so can anybody help please...

If you have a new laptop, the best solution to your problem might be to download and install openSUSE 11.4.

11.4 should function better at the system level, and the KDE desktop has benefited greatly from its development since the version used on 11.1.

Otherwise, what is the model of the laptop concerned? The details of your problem are important if you are to get a useful answer.
