SUSE cannot see Windows partition

Hi there,

I recently installed openSuse on my laptop. The problem that I have is that Suse cannot see my Windows partition on the same laptop. I have been using Ubuntu for a while and I have never had such a problem. Also the samba server cannot see any windows shares. Any ideas????

Which filesystem is used. For a fat32 filesystem, make sure that the `vfat' kernel module is loaded. For an ntfs filesystem (as in XP), make sure that you have the fuse & ntfs-3g packages installed; and the `fuse' kernel module loaded. Then if you run the YaST2 partitioner program, you can create a mount point and have an entry added to /etc/fstab. You could do this manually as well.
