SuSE and screen refresh rate
 

Hi!

I have just installed my SuSE 9.0 and I whanted to change my screen refresh rate. When I change my monitor (Samsung SyncMaster) and I restart my monitor didn't turn on (only signal: "Monitor is out of range"). Now I don't know how to fix it (no F8 like in Win?).

Only thing I can remember is to play a game "Format c:" ;) So I hope there is come command in console i can type to fix this.

You will find all the monitor and card related options in the XFree86 configuration file at /etc/X11/XF86Config-4.

I change my monitor in XF86Config, and now if works fine.
