suse 9 sound problem
Hi, all
I just install suse 9 proff. edition, and my sound card does not work,
the wierd thing is that I had install suse 9 home editon ( 3 cds) and my sound card worked fine.
any clues about it
I have a sound blaser,
and here is the messages''
"" the kernnel module snd-sb16 forsound support could not be loaded.

Balam, Im brand new to Linux I also installed suse 9 pro and have no sound, im currently looking at help files ,,soon as I find something I will let you know.

it isfix now,
I Ijust reboot and the final settings of install got finish now works fine ( looks like after install i did not reboot it, so the modul was not loading at boot, and I cuold not load the module at comand line, so itworks fine now.)

Glad you got it, my problem was, I have a cd/rw & cdrom, well the one suse detected was not hooked up to sound card, man am i dumb lol
