Suse 9.3 Korganizer Custom Schedule, or Save Entire Day as Template

Hello All,

First a little background so that you can understand my need.

I am a teacher at a school with a schedule that works on a ten day cycle. The days are numbered 1-10, and repeat, excluding weekends, and holidays.

I want to use KOrganizer as my daily planner. however I run into problems when trying to schedule classes. If a Day 4 is to fall on a Friday that is a holiday, the day 4 doesn't get missed, it is pushed forward to the next Monday. Because KOrganizer only works on the 7 day calendar week, this messes up scheduling greatly. I have used recurring settings for classes, set at 14 days, but if a holiday falls somewhere in between it messes everything up in a great way.

The most simple solution that I can think of would be to save each day of the cycle, (and all of it's classes), as a template, and then apply the template to each appropriate calendar day. That way, I can skip days whenever necessary. I know that I can save individual appointments as a template, but I want the whole day.

I can't find an option in KOrganizer to do this. Am I missing it?

As an added note:

I am aware that under <Settings>, there is a <Configure KOrganizer> that leads to custom pages options. The <Edit With Qt Designer> button is greyed out, and I can't find how to activate it, (the "how does this work" suggestion is no good as it begins with suggesting that I click this non-functioning button). I started QT Designer from my Menu Panel, but it seemed so intimidating, and I wan't sure how to use it).

I know that my problem is clear to me, but if you have a question please go ahead and ask.

Any help is appreciated,
Thanks,
-Swimmer-
