Pay up $300 and you'll get all the help you need. (Just kidding :P). Maybe you can try a PXE installation? Or get the Suse Disc 1 and choose minumum installation. =)

For an FTP installation you'll need a compatible network adapter and a fast and stable network connection. Simply boot from the mini-installation CD, select FTP (or HTTP, depending on the mirror) as installation source. If you receive your IP from DHCP, you can simply write install=ftp://<mirror/path/to/9.1. With a static IP, you may need to run 'Manual Installation'. Unfortunately, in this case you need to load the drivers (network card, hdd controller, filesystem, etc.) by hand. We can help you through this... (for free )

It's not as bad as it sounds. There are only a few main drivers you will need to load. =)
