Question Suse 9.2 Media players

I have a set of .avi mpeg4 videos, about 4 dvd's worth. All I want to do is play them with a simple media player, but xine says that I have a problem with the divxc32.dll codec... I am not even sure where to go from here. I managed to get kaffeine to play the files, but they only do the sound. I also downloaded and managed to somehow figure out how to get it to even open, vlc, from videolan.org. This program seemed to play the video, but no sound. I had pondered starting both at same time, but isn't there an easier way?

Thank you,
Josh

download win32 codecs from the mplayer site or from xine nightly page (they have rpms). They will be installed in /usr/lib/win32.

SUCCESS! I think the codecs should be included if you install all of the media players with suse. Thank you all very much.
