SuSE 9.2 Disable Screen Saver
 

Screen Saver seems to pop up and I don't want it to.
Have tried xset s off -dpms and removing the start automatically check in the check-box.

Is their another way to disable screen saver mode? or a location on this site to find the information?

You can find the screen savers in the KDE Control Center application (kcontrol from the command line). Barring that, you could execute the following at the command line:

xscreensaver-demo

From there you can choose to disable all screen savers.
