Suse 9.2 Cable internet setup
 

Hi, I am a newb obviously. I bought Suse 9.2 like 6 months ago and installed it 2 months ago. I had DSL then and everything was fine. I have since switched to cable not realizing that this would not be as easy Windows. WHY do things always have to be so complicated????

Can anyone help? I have searched many forums and haven't found anything that matches my question. How do you set up cable internet access for Suse 9.2 from start to finish.

Oh and can you please tell me in English. I have read some other posts on other sites and can't make sense of anything. I am not stupid. I am just new to Linux and so far not really impressed. I want pnp, point and click, etc...not having to write code. I don't see the functionality in that. I want to start the pc and it work. Not tweak out the bugs or basically install programs by hand. I have a busy schedule. Time wasted on this idiot box is just that, time wasted.
