Hi there mate!

Welcome to LinuxQuestions.org. You might want to check this thread:

http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...threadid=45094

to get a good understanding of how to install programs in Linux. You are better off learning the command line well.

SuSE, on the other hand, makes life quite easy to install/remove programs. Search on your menu's for an application called "YaST2". It helps you to configure your entire machine, update the system and install programs.

If you ever need to download packages for your distribution, this is a great site:

http://rpm.pbone.net/

and if you want to learn how to configure YaST to download dependencies/packages instead of be asked for your disks over and over again, read this thread:

http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...89#post1087289

Those info should keep you busy for a while :)

Best of luck!
