SuSE 9.1 and gnome install problems

Hey guys,

i've just finished a network install of SuSE 9.1. During the setup stages i selected what i thought were integral parts of the gnome enviroement (core libraries, etc etc etc) however I can't seem to find anywhere on the net that will tell me how to log onto the gnome enviroment.

When my logon screen comes up, i can select my username, password etc. Then i can choose what type of session I would also like to run but there is no Gnome there. There is only failsafe, kde, ICE, Window Maker etc. I was just wondering if anyone could give me any tips on how to get into gnome, or add gnome to the session selection menu.

Thanks again

as long as you're sure you have gnome on board, using kde i believe you can log into administrator mode in the control panel, select sessions and add gnome to the list there. at least thats how i do it with suse 9.0 i'm not sure if they changed that with 9.1, but i don't see why they would?
