SuSE 9.1 and gnome install problems
Hey guys,
i've just finished a network install of SuSE 9.1. During the setup stages i selected what i thought were integral parts of the gnome enviroement (core libraries, etc etc etc) however I can't seem to find anywhere on the net that will tell me how to log onto the gnome enviroment. When my logon screen comes up, i can select my username, password etc. Then i can choose what type of session I would also like to run but there is no Gnome there. There is only failsafe, kde, ICE, Window Maker etc. I was just wondering if anyone could give me any tips on how to get into gnome, or add gnome to the session selection menu. Thanks again GoSTaRnE |
as long as you're sure you have gnome on board, using kde i believe you can log into administrator mode in the control panel, select sessions and add gnome to the list there. at least thats how i do it with suse 9.0 i'm not sure if they changed that with 9.1, but i don't see why they would?
