Unhappy SUSE 9.0 Server Tiscali Sagem ADSL

I have read the manual, i have asked google, and google points to linux

So here goes.

Has anyone got the Sagem ADSL modem working with SUSE 9.0 Server?

If you have please explain it to me like i am a 2 year old how you did it.

I have spoken to (in India!) Said i had Linux, "What operating system are you using" she asked me!! She then said i needed to download new drivers, i.e please go.

I have included link to the text that i think relates to ho wto make an instalation below.

I get to section 2 and try the check to see if the software is installed. a) i do not know what it is for and b)how to install it.

I have tried running some scripts freom the cd-rom but they do not seem to run. Idiots guide desperately needed!

Many thanks in advance
