SUSE 9.0 install on nf4 raid 0

Hi there,
I want to install SUSE 9.0 on a raid0 array (2x160 Hitachi 7k250 SATA) created on nforce4 chipset of the A8N-SLi deluxe motherboard. Obviously, I can't because the raid array is invisible to suse. On the raid array exists allready a Windows xp pro SP1 installation. I want to create a dual boot system.
I know it is possible but as I'm a complete newbie I can't understand the majority of posts and tutorials.
1.Is it too much for a newbie like me to want something "complicated" like installing suse on a raid0 array? Is it better to purchase a new hard disk for the suse installation?
2.If someone already did it, is it possible to explain step-by-step the complete procedure?
Thanks in advance
