Unhappy suse 8.2 boot module1

well i am interested in installing Suse 8.2 my pc is : Intel pentium 3 999MHz , 896MB of ram , gforce 4 4200mx 128 mb ,
80 gig hard , and curantly running xp pro under FAT 32 file system

ok my story, i have veiwed the instructions on suse 8.2 more than 10 times now. i made the poper boot disk and the driver modules1 , 2 , and 3. i restarted pc ( after conf bios ) to boot up from floopy { bootdisk}. STEP 1 compleated , everything runs smooth i see the visual setup screen in 1024x768 pix.
STEP 2, i run command from boot: linux install=ftp://xxx.125.253.59/pub/linux/xxxxxx/xxxx/i386/8.2/

everything seems fine my boot disk is starting to install drivers 44% done askes me for modules1 disk ....done 100 % done !!

then i get the black screen of death , no prompt no installing no HD light on my tower.

if anyone can help that would be awsome thanx

When you get to the blue and white screen that gives you the installation options (befoer it starts loading the kernel), try "acpi disabled" and if that doesn't work, try manual install.

bad luck

Well i tryed acpi disabled and nothind still the same problem. the monitor like jest shuts off, and i dont have the linux "know how" to manualy install suse 8.2. I looked for manuals for the OS and i cant find anything to help me step by step.

If anyone had the problem before or would know how to properly install it please post it here.
