I downloaded a .bin file...how do I install this???

Search around the forums it's such a basic and requently asked question...

The easiest way is to click on the executable eg. Open Office

Or run it from a bash prompt by doing this
Code:
cd /directory/of/bin/file
./filename
It will then execute...
