Hi,
i just installed suse 10 on my machine ( p3 800Mhz with Gforce 4 mx 440,LG F900P 19" monitor).
I have install in the past suse 9.1 and 9.3.
As with the older distros when i finish installing, my screen is not full.The disply doesnt get the whole screen.
I went to the xorg.conf,put in the appropriate vertical and horizontal sync.Then i was able to change the rf to 88Hz,but the display is still the same.
I also tried with xvidtune,but when it couldnt change anything,I pressed "up" and the screen wouldnt move up etc...
I have the suse 10.0 from Linux magazine
I tried to install manually the gforce driver but i get the following error(log) :

I think i hav installed the gcc,but i cant find any executable "gcc".also it seems like a spelling error (whats the command "cc"?).
What should i do know?
