I installed Fedora Core 6 with Win XP in dual boot - and both were working fine.
Thought I would experiment with adding Suse 10.1 and booted with Suse 10.1 CD. Had electricity shutdown and my UPS also conked. Got everything fixed the next day and tried installing Suse 10.1 from the same CD - it stops at GRUB>
What do I do now?
My config is Pentium 3.0 HT, 512 MB DDR2, 120 GB SATA with four 30 GB partitions c:,d:,e: and f:. My system also has four card readers which Windows recognises as separate drives but no floppy drive.
I installed Windows XP first on c: and then installed FC6 on the last partition f: by deleting the logical drive from Win XP (I think it was sda7).

This implies that it is not booting the SUSE CD...there is nothing in the install process that would stop at GRUB>

At this point, what is working and what is not?
Will it boot into Windows or Fedora?
Will it boot the SUSE CD?
Will it boot ANY CD?
Can you install SUSE, but then it fails to boot after install?

Thanks for the help - I have already fixed it by restoring windows using the rescue option and fixing the MBR
