Suse 10.0 opens Just Opens In Console ?

I formatted my computer. Then I Installed XP Professional SP2 and then Suse 10.0 to my computer. However I couldnt see the KDE. That is, Suse just works from the console. Not X window system.

I tried startx command but it didn't work.

The VGA card I use is NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X (Microsoft Corporation)

Is the problem is that ?
If so, Is there any solution ?

Intel Celeron 1.7 GHz
256 RAM

Didn't work how? couldn't find the command (which indicates you dont have the X server installed) or bombed out (indicates an ill-configured X server), or didnt start KDE? (startx is controlled by ~/.xinitrc usually, there is an exec line in there to start the WM/DE of your choice.

The more info you provide, the easier it is for people to identify the problem

I dont know how to explain the problem exactly.However, when I write the startx command, it doesn't say no such command . It understands the command but while applying it, it fails.

After the command the machine tries to do something but cannot achieve opening the X Window.
