suse 10.0


hi I have suse installed with winxp on same hard drive it booted up fine untell my motherboard went bad I replaced the motherboard with one I had removed in a upgrade and now windows boots all the way up but suse don't it goes so far and then displays a full page of writing and stops cold I think the bios needs some changes made some where but don't know what to do thanks for any help

Well, posting the error messages would be a good start.

ok heres what it says [waiting for divice /hdc2 to appear resume device hdc not found [inqnoring and then waiting for /div/hdc3 to appear not found exiting to /bin/sh

Sounds like a disk controller issue. Try booting with a liveCD and see what cfdisk is seeing. That may give some clue about what's going on.
