suse 10.0 => processes "sending kill signal": "done, done, missing"...!?

when shutting down my computer, i get these three words, when all processes are supposed to get their "kill signal": done, done, missing. what is it that might be missing??

Those are typically to the right of the screen, whatever it's referring to would be directly to the left of it. If everything is working, I wouldn't worry about it.

actually, i ask because there is nothing standing on the left hand side of the screen.
