Angry Surface Pro 3

Hello, I'm trying to install Zorin OS. After the first try, the system stops the installation after a few steps, I saw the interface but It couldn't finish the process...

I reset the pc and went to youtube. There I found what was wrong, went to BIOS and disable an option to be able to run another system.

Now after restarting the pc a black screen showing a message not found.

What I can do to erase the first installation attempt and install the OS...

Sorry, but please share with us all the exact steps and their full results.
How else could we help you?

Generally speaking, a web search for "install linux on surface pro 3" gives various good-looking results.

Have you tried to perform the install now that you have an understanding better how to complete it from the resource you found? Suggest you try that and see if it gives you options to get rid of the partition which contains the former failed install, or if your desire it to entirely run it on Linux, I'm sure it will allow you to wipe the disk and use it all for Linux.

Partition?

That sounds promising, How can I delete the partition to start all over?

Are you suggesting to erase everything even Windows 10?

I was suggesting if you have no desire or need for W10 that you could erase it all, but typically Linux installs (some of them) will show you the existing partition scheme and allow you to adjust it, even to the point of deleting partitions that you know are not useful, such as any partition which contains this pending/failed install. And also typically the install will allow you to erase all on the hard drive and use it all for Linux. I don't know Zorin at all, so cannot attest to what it does. And by the way, we can move this thread to a Zorin distro forum if you like, just please click Report on one of the posts and ask in the dialogue to have it moved, happy to do that if you like.
