Supportable files in linux
Does linux support .exe file?
If yes then how can i install the softwares in linux(the softwares that we use in windows xp)? is it to be done using commands or simple double click on the setup file? |
No, you can't run Windows executables under Linux (not natively, anyway). You might like to check out Wine, which allows you to run Windows executables under Linux.
Is it not possible for you to find a Linux equivalent of the software you're using? Tell us what it is you want to install and we may be able to suggest something. |

u are talking as if you have got everything but dont have the wine....... |
You may be able to run the game with Cedega: http://www.cedega.com/gamesdb/games/...l?game_id=5161. I'm not sure if you have to pay for Cedega and I've never used it, so I can't help you further, I'm afraid.

In addition to the other suggestions, you might want to look at CrossOver ( http://codeweavers.com ) |
