Support for epson stylusC42ux??

Hi, im dual booting SuSE 8.1 with Win XP, i have a Epson Stylus C42UX printer, but no matter what i selecty under the YasT control centre i cant get it to work, ive tried all the generic and epson options i can, the most response i get is that the printer just spools off loadsa blank sheets,

any ideas????

Im starting to get a nasty feeling that my printer isnt supported!!!!

Cheers

you need to check Epson online. SuSE isn't likely to have the device driver for your specific printer built into the kernel. Epson online might have a printer driver for LINUX, and if it does, your in luck. If it doesn't, I don't know where else you could find it.
