superblock or partition table corrupt?
Hello,
I have installed and partly configured Slackware9.0 and it is running well, however I got an error message on one of my partitions.
After running fsck on my /home partition, efsck -t ext3 /dev/hda6:
"The filesystem size (according to the superblock) is 2281198 blocks. The physical size of the device is 1959898 blocks. Either the superblock or the partition table is likely to be corrupt!"
My partitions were initially made with PartitionMagic4 and (under Linux) changed with cfdisk and converted to ext3. PM4 doesn't recognise ext3 filesystems.
Except from this error message everything seems to work fine.
Should I use an alternative superblock or what ?
Any clues welcome.
Regards,
Kristian
