Question Super Block


Is there any command to view the values of the superblock of a specified file system like ext2 or ext3?

Or can we view them by using some functions?

any help is most welcome....

Yes. dumpe2fs will do that. You also might find the debugfs command useful. In Debian these programs are contained in the e2fsprogs package. Here is the e2fsprogs home page:
